a childhood fave, enjoy this beverage hot or cold

ingredients
  • 3 large ginger roots
  • 5 limes or lemons, juiced
  • 2-3 cups of water
  • pineapple juice
  • sugar(optional)
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
directions
  • leaving skin on, chop ginger into chunks suitable enough for blending
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • add ginger & just enough water for blending into blender
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • once blended, use a sieve to drain mixture into a container or pitcher of your choice  
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • squeeze ginger mixture dry as much as possible
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • add & stir juices(lime, pineapple) + sugar to your liking
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • do a taste test and adjust accordingly
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • finally add 3-4 cups of water, do a final stir and taste test
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • let it sit for a few hours or drink it right away
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
feel free to add mint leaves, tamarind or whatever else you want to add

if you like ginger shots, add some turmeric +black pepper(activate the turmeric) for energy or drops of CBD oil for relaxation
